Overview

Join our dynamic Engineering organization and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Technical Architects, and Quality Assurance teams, you will champion quality initiatives to deliver top-notch software products. Embracing an Agile mindset, you'll be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to enhancing both new and existing products.

Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive tests on the TraceLink platform and application, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.

Prepare concise and insightful defect reports, facilitating swift resolution by developers and validation by the Quality Engineering team.

Validate defect fixes to uphold product integrity.

Develop cutting-edge tooling for automated testing of our platform and application, empowering efficient testing at scale.

Interface testing tools programmatically with the TraceLink ecosystem to maximize effectiveness.

Design and create testing tools accessible to non-developers, capable of simulating real-world transaction volumes.

Offer strategic analysis to apply the most suitable technologies and architecture for tackling conceptual challenges.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools, exploring their potential applications within TraceLink.

Collaborate closely with core product engineers to embed testability considerations into product design.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in test automation engineering, with hands-on interaction with systems under test.

Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages with a minimum of 3 years of programming experience.

Extensive experience in developing and executing formal test plans, data sets, and configurations for feature areas.

Demonstrated expertise in testing web-based enterprise-class applications, including performance testing.

It is advantageous to be familiar with tools such as Ant or Maven, Unix, automated unit test frameworks (e.g., TestNG), git, AWS/GCS/Azure, and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of databases, including SQL or NoSQL, is a plus.
