As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis process for our company. Your expertise and insights will help guide our strategic decisions and ensure our continued success. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about finance, analytics, and problem-solving.
You will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, providing strategic insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
Maintain and develop financial models, standard templates and various reports to support planning processes and store operations, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
Provide financial and analytical support for the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide financial analysis support as assigned by senior management and to various areas of the company
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and ensure alignment with company objectives
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities to senior management
Manages preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances
Monitor and track financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying and explaining variances
What You'll Need:
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, MBA a plus
3+ years related work experience in financial planning and analysis
Prior retail industry experience is preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and skills.
Independent worker and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
Demonstrate solid MS Excel/spreadsheet skills. Comfortable developing and working with complex financial models
Dedicated to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work well in a team environment, and give honest, direct feedback
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment
Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
Basic working knowledge of database software
Must be available to work on Pacific Time hours to meet the needs of the business.
Occasional travel to HQ in City of Industry, CA is required.

Salary range: $92,000 – $113,000
