General Sales Manager

A heritage Baltimore radio station is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to maximize advertising revenue across our various platforms. This position requires a proven track record of success in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and a passion for driving results.
Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive advertising revenue across multiple platforms, including radio, digital, and events.
Identify new business opportunities and cultivate leads to expand our client base.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to inform sales strategies. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in media sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Deep understanding of the media landscape, including radio, digital, and emerging platforms.
