Ron Tirapelli Ford, Inc is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Shorewood, IL. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers service needs, providing expert guidance and ensuring a seamless service experience. You will work closely with our technicians to coordinate repairs and maintenance, while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally when they bring their vehicles in for service.
• Listen to customer concerns, assess their needs, and provide accurate service recommendations.
• Prepare and explain estimates for service and repairs clearly and transparently.
• Coordinate with technicians to schedule and monitor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the service process.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve problems efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Promote additional services and upsell when appropriate to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with automotive terminology and service processes is a plus.
• Proficient with computer software including service management systems.
• Valid drivers license.
