About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Programs to lead and drive the strategic goals of its mission to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing long-term programmatic initiatives, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals, and maintaining a visionary leadership approach. This role involves staying informed about industry trends and policy changes, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Vice President of Programs will also be tasked with program evaluation, quality assurance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the program leadership.Applicants for the Vice President of Programs position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior leadership experience in the housing, homelessness, and/or social services fields. A Master's degree in a related field is highly preferred. The role requires a proven track record of driving outcomes in a nonprofit or similar organization, strong knowledge of homeless services and housing programs, and expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be adept at strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving. Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and familiarity with government funding sources is also essential. A deep commitment to the mission and values of the organization, as well as a passion for serving unhoused individuals and families, is a fundamental requirement for this role.
