Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Load, unload, and transport materials and products to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and delivery trucks.
Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and products for damage or defects, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with warehouse team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance department.
Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times, following good housekeeping practices.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a stand-up forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices related to forklift operation.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
Schedule: 3:30 pm - 12 am Sunday to Thursday
