Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline and Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a system engineer in programs of similar scope is required. Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for BS degree, totaling 19 years of SE experience.
TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
Design and plan network communications systems. Conduct testing of network design.
Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture; plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
Experience with design/engineering/implementation of LAN/WAN networks.
Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB meetings.
Participate in Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities.
Allocate real time process budgets and error budgets to systems components.
Conduct quantitative analysis in non-functional system performance areas (such as Reliability, Maintainability, Vulnerability, etc).
Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services and implement comprehensive SOA solutions.

Peraton is seeking a senior System/Network Engineer to assist with development of system and functional requirements and allocation of the same to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components. Responsible for analyzing high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications. Will contribute to the development of systems engineering documentation.
