The role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Mobile (Flutter) with a natural inclination to elegantly solve problems. As a member of the Mobile platform team, you will be responsible for improving our Mobile application and help members get their money right. You will get the chance to take on complex and interesting problems as part of a highly collaborative team. This is a high impact role that will work with different product engineering teams to work on shared components across the mobile platform. The ideal candidate will be a mentor and a team-player who is hands-on and comfortable driving solutions from initial architecture to final implementation with a strong sense of ownership and drive for delivery .
At SoFi, we pride ourselves on the collaboration between Product, Design and Engineering and so you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, deploying and continual improvement and evolution.
What youll do:
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for mobile applications.
Identify / analyze risk factors and actively implement mitigation strategies to improve pipeline reliability and stability.
Configure and incorporate automated dependency management, static analysis and archival systems.
Create and maintain dashboards to monitor and improve infrastructure and pipeline performance.
Investigate and resolve pipeline and build issues.
Be a champion for automation, continuously identifying and automating repetitive tasks.
What youll need:
Expertise deploying iOS and Android applications. Minimum 3+ years experience running CI/CD for native mobile applications
3+ yrs experience with Python and shell scripting on MacOS
3+ yrs experience with continuous delivery using Gradle, Bash, Fastlane, Maven, CocoaPod, and similar tool sets
3+ yrs experience with one or more of the CI tools like: Gitlab Pipelines, GithubActions, CircleCI, etc.
Expertise in working with Git and knowledge of different branching methodologies.
Experience creating and managing ops metrics dashboards (Datadog, NewRelic, etc).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
Experience in development of mobile apps for iOS or Android using Swift, Objective C, Kotlin and Java
Experience with code signing mobile applications for iOS, including code signing identities and provisioning profiles
Experience with Terraform and Amazon EC2 machine configs.
Experience with mobile app distribution tools (Firebase distribution, Testflight, Hockeyapp, etc.)
Experience integrating Jira, Slack or other communication and tools with automation pipelines.

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidates experience, skills, and location.
