About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Group Business Development and Growth for its Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure (EEI) Group. This role is pivotal in shaping the clean energy transition and the future of sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, strategic, and highly collaborative leader, responsible for leading a seasoned team of business development professionals across four divisions. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership to maximize sales, team empowerment to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation, and cross-functional partnership to optimize business development processes. The role also involves collaboration with the company's corporate growth, marketing, and innovation teams, and a metrics-driven approach to track and analyze business development metrics.Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in business development roles for firms selling professional consulting services, with at least 5 years' in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated leadership and business development responsibility for over $300 million in annual sales is required, with a preference for experience in diverse EEI-related markets and client sectors. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a proven track record of influencing, talent management, and organizational development. Familiarity with utility clients and Federal agency experience is highly desired. The role demands a strategic thinker who can strengthen client relationships, engage in industry thought leadership, and effectively represent the company as a senior leader in the market.
