Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

We are a team of passionate storytellers, technology innovators, and change agents. Building off Adobe Express initial success, we are now re-imagining (from the ground up!) the way people discover, create, and publish the full range of media types - from graphics to imaging to video - right in the browser and on their mobile devices. Our aim is to build fast and easy product experiences that empower students, social influencers, marketers, small businesses - really anyone with something to say - to make something that will stand out and impress their audience. We need an experienced automation engineer to help build the infrastructure and tooling for Adobe’s newest products.

The Challenge

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join a highly motivated and fast-paced team, building a new creativity platform that will help define the future of Creative Cloud and Adobe’s Digital Media business! You will need a keen eye for details and high standards for design, code quality, and efficiency. People who enjoy taking on complex technical challenges, have a real passion for delighting customers, and who are self-motivated to push themselves in a team oriented culture will thrive in our environment.

What You'll Do

On the Automation Frameworks team, we are responsible for increasing the velocity and scale of our product releases by providing a sustainable automation framework ecosystem. These systems are highly reliable, performant, and continuously address the most important development needs to validate quality at different stages of delivery while ensuring features and services meet the thorough check-in gates and deployment checkpoints. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about this space and looking to help us evolve and grow this ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, vision, and design for a comprehensive automation frameworks ecosystem across multiple teams and organizations.

Champion the testing automation culture within Hz Ecosystem.

Contribute and build to various aspects of the automation architectures and infrastructure to support automation at different stages of continuous delivery.

Develop and evolve our test automation infrastructure to increase scale and velocity.

Build tools, dashboards, and other related infrastructure to help improve the debuggability and reliability of the infrastructure.

Troubleshooting and providing support/expertise for our development teams on how best to contribute to automation frameworks.

Review testing automation PRs.

Review test automation failures and take appropriate next step action.

Write Playwright automation scripts.

Ingredients for Success

5+ years of experience working on automation frameworks or similar.

Experience in JavaScript (client/server), TypeScript, Python, Playwright and associated mobile development frameworks.

Experience with modern, continuous development techniques and build pipelines (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Kubernetes).

Relevant experience with modern tools and services: Splunk, NewRelic, BrowserStack, SauceLabs, AWS, Grafana.

Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
