Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, and staging of freight on motor carriers and in dock facilities.
Complete and processes appropriate paperwork.
Ensure all freight paperwork is complete, accurate, legible, and processed timely.
Perform physical loading, unloading, rearranging, and staging of freight.
Check shipments received for correct items, counts, packing, crating, and tagging.
Ensure safe and proper loading of freight within each vehicle (bracing, strapping, labeling freight, etc.) to minimize the possibility of damaged freight.
Requirements 6 months prior forklift experience; a combination of applicable work experience or education in a warehouse/dock role will be considered.
Must be forklift certifiable through Tax-Air's forklift certification program for OSHA compliance.
Forklift, dock hook, general material handling equipment, banders, calculator, copier, imaging equipment, scanning equipment, etc.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Monday - Friday
4PM - 12AM
