The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for all marketing activities

The primary focus of this will be reviewing and revising our current programs, and implementing new outreach programs

Branding, consider the importance in this industry, and develop appropriate plan

Outreach, determine the best strategy to reach our potential customers in very diverse industries

Take responsibility for monthly marketing reporting, including metrics

Timing: We believe this will be one to two days per week in the early phases

Our client is a US based, Veteran owned manufacturer of rope, cordage and custom linear composites. We desire to expand its B to B OEM business via a new, sustainable (digital) marketing campaign. Company is very capable of developing custom rope to a specific requirement. This is a very part time role, remote for the right candidate, up to 10 hours per week

Overview: This is the sole marketing... position within the company with good sales and product development support. The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for all marketing activities. The primary focus of this will be reviewing and revising our current programs, and implementing new outreach programs. In addition to identifying new business opportunities the Marketing Manager will supervise our dot com website, and our presence on Amazon.

Outreach, determine the best strategy to reach our potential customers in very diverse industries

Implement appropriate outreach marketing, mail chimp, constant contact, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.

Take responsibility for monthly marketing reporting, including metrics.

Timing: We believe this will be one to two days per week in the early phases. Once established we believe this will be about one day per week. Company had the flexibility to meet the right candidate’s schedule

Conclusion: This is a nice opportunity for an experienced marketing generalist who seeks some part time work and wants to run their own show. The marketing challenge is that there is no single market we are selling into. The rope we sell may go into industrial machinery, packaging, marine, or any other market. The buyer we are trying to sell to has much more important components to purchase.
