We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our fast-paced team in Pleasanton, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop and implement project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsible for budget planning, cost management, and identification of resources needed.
Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and other documentation to stakeholders.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health and safety laws, and other regulations.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, providing insight and direction when needed.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction project management, construction scheduling, budget management, and contract billing.
Proficient in project management software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of building codes, laws, and regulations.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
