About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance Operations to lead and optimize all operational finance functions. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of various financial operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance operations management, with a focus on process improvements and control enhancements. Essential duties include personnel management, and overseeing the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, payroll, subledger close, operational reporting, program management, and enterprise project management. The VP will also play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the organization.Applicants for the VP of Finance Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA, CPA, or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred. A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance operations management is required, with a proven track record of success. The role demands a candidate with in-depth knowledge of financial systems, processes, and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to lead and manage change initiatives. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a high-performing team, have a strong accounting background, and be comfortable presenting to the executive management team.
