Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role involves comprehensive testing of our software systems to ensure high quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing with specific experience in automated testing tools such as Cypress, Sauce Labs, and Appium.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Use Cypress, SauceLabs, and Appium to automate testing processes and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Collaborate with the software development team to ensure consistent project execution
Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Help troubleshoot issues and contribute to the development of solutions
Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in the quality assurance field, with a focus on software testing
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress, SauceLabs, and Appium
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong cross-team communication skills
