We're looking for an enthusiastic, professional receptionist to join our team! You'll play a crucial role as the face and first point of contact for our organization. Responsibilities include checking patients in and out, verifying demographics, obtaining patient insurance information and creating medical EMR charts, verifying insurance, reconciling office charges at patient checkout, scheduling appointments, answering office phones, guiding patients through their initial visit and ensuring important data is ready for the provider. Responsibilities
•Insurance verification
•Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail
•Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, photocopying, etc. when needed
•Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions
•Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
Qualifications
•Medical office experience preferably pediatrics
•Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent
•Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
•At least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant, experience, or similar preferred
•Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
•Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
