WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time **Early Career Civil Engineer** for our **Buffalo, Albany, Valhalla, and New York, NY** offices. Be involved in projects with our **Civil Engineering Team** and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact

+ Design and drafting of highway, and urban roadway and site projects

+ Design and drafting of underground utility networks

+ Development and review of construction cost estimates

+ Development of technical memos and other professional communications

+ Work with a variety of clients to develop unique and cost effective designs

+ Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills

+ Assist in design using various types of CADD design software

+ Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis

+ Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates

+ Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation

Who You Are

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related degree.

+ 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.

+ Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

+ Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

+ Background in drafting software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.

+ Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products.

+ The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.

+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Recent graduate or May 2024 Graduate in an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, Undergraduate or Graduate program.

+ The successful candidate will have 0-3 years of internship experience in Civil Engineering.

+ Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and drainage software.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Salary: $55,400 - $91,300
