JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Community Service Federal Work-Study Program seeks undergraduate and graduate students to serve as Civic Engagement Ambassadors with the League of Women Voters of Centre County for spring 2024, summer 2024, and the 2024/25 academic year.
Civic Engagement Ambassadors will work to support the registration and education of community voters.
This position assumes a commitment of 8-10 hours/week. Specific days/hours to be determined upon hire. Starting pay rates for the 2023/24 academic year are $14/hour for undergraduate students and $16/hour for graduate students. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
