Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented and proactive Senior Data Engineer to join our vulnerability team. If you have a passion for data analytics and architecting etl workflows in AWS, but you are not to be a security expert, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will play a crucial part in leveraging data analytics to improve vulnerability prioritization and raise our organization's security posture. As an autonomous and self-motivated professional, you will work closely with our team to analyze security data using Databricks, Python, and Spark, while also creating and maintaining reporting Dashboards in AWS-Quicksight and PowerBI.
Responsibilities:
Utilize data analytics techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within security data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive vulnerability management strategies.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, leveraging Python and Spark, to gather, process, and analyze security data.
Create visually appealing and insightful reporting Dashboards using AWS-Quicksight and Power BI for key stakeholders.
Work closely with security analysts, engineers, and developers to ensure efficient and effective vulnerability management.
Provide data-driven recommendations and reports through the created Dashboards to aid in decision-making processes.
Provide general support for Comcast Cybersecurity community to provide custom data analytics.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and experience with data analytics using tools such as Databricks, Python, and Spark.
No need to be a security expert, but an interest in cybersecurity is essential.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining reporting Dashboards in AWS-Quicksight and/or Power BI.
Strong Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
Strong CICD knowledge and practice.
Familiarity with AWS services like Glue, IAM and Redshift is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud best practices is a plus.
Basic experience with either Quicksight or Power BI is needed.
Interest in candidates with experience in predictive modeling and/or machine learning.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Passion for learning, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.

Salary:
National Pay Range: $67,914.96 USD-$159,175.70 USD
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
