Instrument Repair Technician_

**Skill Requirements**

· **Troubleshoot** issues with point of care analyzers.

· **Repair** point of care analyzers following detailed operating procedures.

· Experience with **electromechanical assembly/disassembly** .

· Ability to read and understand **assembly drawings** and **schematics** .

· Basic **computer skills** , including proficiency in **test software** and **software test tools** .

· Experience working in a **lab environment** , setting up test equipment and working with automated tools.

· Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives like 5S or Kaizen.

**Skill Education**

· **Troubleshoot:** The ability to identify problems in devices or systems and find solutions to fix them.

· **Repair:** The act of fixing or restoring something that is broken or malfunctioning.

· **Point of care analyzers:** Medical devices used near the patient for immediate diagnostic results.

· **Digital test equipment:** Electronic devices used for measuring or testing various parameters in other electronic devices or systems.

· **Electromechanical assembly/disassembly:** The process of putting together or taking apart mechanical components that involve electrical operations.

· **Assembly drawings:** Technical diagrams showing how parts fit together to make a whole device.

- **Schematics:** Diagrams representing the elements of a system using abstract graphic symbols rather than realistic pictures.

- **Computer Skills:** Basic knowledge and ability to use computers effectively for various tasks including handling specific software applications relevant to the job role.

- **Test software/Software test tools:** Programs used for evaluating the functionality of other software applications by running tests designed to detect bugs or issues.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour
