As the Accounting Manager on the Finance and Data team, you will:
Craft monthly financial reports with expertise and velocity, maintaining accurate records using Quickbooks.
Be the guardian of financial transactions, reconciling with finesse and taking action when imperfections are detected.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Data team leaders to ensure seamless plans for new revenue and expense streams.
Process vendor invoices flawlessly with Bill.com, ensuring vendors are paid on time and in the preferred manner.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process, lending your expertise in the preparation of audit schedules.
Work alongside an external tax firm to diligently prepare and file tax returns, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Address any unique tax matters that may arise, showcasing your ability to navigate complex fiscal landscapes with ease.
To be successful in this role, you must:
Have 3+ years experience in audit or corporate accounting, preferably in the tech or startup realm.
Be analytical, detail-oriented, and have problem-solving prowess.
Enjoy the balance between the steady rhythm of recurring financial tasks and the excitement of tackling unique, one-of-a-kind accounting challenges.
Have excellent communication skills and a knack for working with imperfect information.
Have a strong sense of ownership for your department, ensuring a very high level of accuracy in all work and acting with velocity.
Active CPA is a super plus
