Caterpillar Defense is seeking a **Contract Specialist located in Dallas, Texas** . In this role, you will, coordinate the preparation of new/more complex contract assignments and administers existing contracts to support the business.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Reviewing and drafting contract terms and documents to ensure contract reflects agreed upon requirements.

+ Participating in customer negotiations.

+ Providing guidance to business teams during contract negotiations to meet contract requirements.

+ Conducting and communicating risk evaluation for assigned contract transactions to ensure company business objectives are met.

+ In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR and Salesforce

+ 5+ years of experience with government contracts (acquire and/or execution)
