Job Description Job Description We’re seeking a Plant Operations System Support Specialist to join our growing team! This role requires a strong understanding of plant operations and proficiency in system analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance is extremely important to this job. REQUIREMENTS:
Basic understanding of maintenance and project management is desirable but not required.
Ability to present creative ideas and communicate well with others.
Must have a strong background in software systems process development.
Experience with project management systems is preferred but not required.
Experience with CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems) is preferred but not required.
Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint required.
Experience and fluency in Smartsheet is highly preferred.
Understands working in data management, document management, and information management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages and maintains project management and controls systems for the Plant Operations Department for multiple facility locations throughout Texas.
Develops and expands program capabilities regarding project management, preventative maintenance, inventory management, and emergency preparedness using available software and technology tools.
Develops, plans, tests, executes, implements, and maintains system tools with the assistance of others.
Composes and implements workflow processes, documentation, and training.
Manages setup, automation, and optimization of reports, dashboards, and queries utilized for trending and operations.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Performs other related tasks as required.
SUPERVISION:
Works under general supervision of the Vice President of Plant Operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field; Can be substituted for Associate’s degree and experience; related industry certifications
