IT Lead Auditor - Houston

As an IT Lead Internal Auditor, you can expect to participate on projects that cover a wide range of topics including Cybersecurity, Cloud and Network Infrastructure. You will also take part in interacting with Senior level stakeholders across the business and supporting them in matters related to operations, finance, information technology, business improvements, governance, risk management, and controls.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting and documenting audits from planning to reporting for the following: General, Operational, Cybersecurity and Internal Controls
Evaluates technology processes, procedures, policies and internal controls and identifies factors causing deficiencies
Provides coaching and mentoring to fellow audit staff and educates the team on IT topics
Performs Data Analytics including complex analysis, dashboard report and exception reporting
Decisions typically related to schedule, plans and tactics. Results impact daily operations and progress on small to medium-sized projects
Makes technical decisions and performs escalated or more highly complex work of a similar nature to that for which they oversee
Ability to travel domestically: 25%
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network/Database Administration, or other IT related degrees
Minimum of 6 years of applied experience in audit, cybersecurity and operational IT experience
Professional certification such as CISSP, ITIL MP, CISA
