TITLE: HYBRID-PERM: IBM MAXIMO EAM SR SALES LEADER

The role needs to be an IBM experience sales leader. This role will be a player/coach role with their own sales quota and managing a small sales team.

I need this person to have experience in selling IBM solutions, mostly Maximo EAM and will likely come from one of the following companies:

This role would preferably be Denver based.

Immediate start, reporting directly to the Head of Americas.

Expected salary: $150k base + Comms + Leadership Bonus.

Quick thoughts and anticipated questions from candidates:

* How much travel do you anticipate ? Will this be more of an America's role or Global role?

- Americas role, will be some travel required but not frequent. Expected travel is 1 trip/2 days per month. This would be both client visits, conferences etc.

* Hybrid Role - in the office 2-3 days a week?

- Yes this is fine.

* Strong Professional Services Background?

- Selling PS and software is required. Does not need to have been a PS consultant but that always helps.

* How large of a sales team will he/she be managing? Are any sales people currently in place?

- currently 2 dedicated reps plus we have 3 principal consultants who are blended delivery/sales. This role will need to ensure they are managing the sales aspects of the principals

* What kind of budget /sales quota do you anticipate for year one? Will existing account revenue in the Americas place be included for the established budget?

- The first task will be to ensure the sales team are structured to grow and working with me on territory and quota planning. I would like to see this role generate approx. $2m of new IBM business in year 1 alongside the management tasks. Based on our comms plan this would generate approx. $108,000 in comms. I would also put in place a performance bonus for our business unit hitting our revenue targets for the FY.

* Do you want a technical background at all or purely functional?

- Enough of both to be able to position the Maximo solution. We have highly skilled technical and functional resources who assist in the sales process.

You should be technical enough to speak IBM Maximo and understand the scope of Maximo within a client technical atmosphere.

* Are there any specific technical skills you desire: Salesforce.com , Excel, PowerPoint, Agile, etc. ?

- IBM Maximo EAM. Our internal systems are pretty simple.

* More business Development than Farming ( a combination of both I presume)

- We have an account manager who does most of the farming. This will be largely biz dev

* Any additional key skills required along with IBM ( we know Maximo is ERP and EAM), any security, migration digital transformation, etc. desired)

- Potential skills: system implementation, system advisory, data migration, system integrations

* Start date: In July?
