Renesas Director of Test Engineering Lansing , Michigan Apply Now As a Director of Test Engineering, you will be responsible for managing a worldwide team of test managers that developing power related ATE test solutions. The team will own delivering ATE characterization, qualification test solutions, sample test solutions on time and at the cost targets. This leadership role will drive test strategy for the business and will scale and develop the team to grow and deliver world class test solutions. Evaluate resource needs and contribute to the business strategy from a test perspective. This position will mentor and develop key test leaders in your organization and work with company and external partners to support the team.

Qualifications

Experience in test leadership role:

10+ years

Degree & Education:

BSEE or greater or Professional equivalent.

Complexity & Problem Solving:

Ability to develop and implement strategies and maximize productivity of multiple test teams worldwide.

Establish relationships with leadership within and outside the organization as needed. This role will report to a senior director.

Knowledge & Application:

Proven record of leading teams to high performance in test development for power and mixed signal ICs

Ability to set priority and propose the best test strategies considering development efficiency and test cost.

Develop and mentor test managers

Ability to collect technical information and organize / present them as needed.

Excellent communication and organization skills

Align manufacturing strategies with internal and external partners

Knowledge of various test technologies (eg. Strip, turret, DFT, high voltage, high power)

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $260,000. This position is also eligible for the SIP bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
