Job Description:
The eCommerce quality control specialist will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues to resolution.
Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in the design and development of testing frameworks and tools.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations to development teams to improve software quality and performance.
Document testing processes and procedures to ensure repeatability and accuracy.
Work with project managers to ensure testing milestones and deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support testing efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
1+ years of software testing and quality control experience.
Preferred:
Experience in developing and executing manual and automated test plans and procedures.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
