Job Description
Our Global Corporate Functions team at Visa is looking for a senior financial analyst to join our amazing team. This role acts as a business partner to functional leaders and cultivates partnerships across functions to drive thought leadership and successfully enact all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. This role presents results and provides insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions.
Essential Functions:
Owns the coordination and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, month end close and enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development and business planning support.
Establishes and manages relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.
Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
Demonstrates well-developed strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Is team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including verbal and writing capabilities.
Operates autonomously and makes informed, well-reasoned decisions independently.
Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of decision making.
Thrives in an environment that is fast paced, constantly evolving, and customer focused.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
B.S. or B.A. in Accounting or Finance, with 5+ years’ experience with a financial/analytical/consultative focus with progressively growing responsibility.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with senior level executives.
Can contribute new insights and solutions to business challenges for operating divisions as well as Finance while delivering excellent customer service.
Budgeting and forecasting, month end close and process development skills necessary.
Advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint required.
Knowledge of sophisticated financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, etc.) is preferred.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 118,500.00 to 154,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
