Sr Software Engineer Position Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge software solutions that contribute to this company's manufacturing processes. This is an in-office role in Wakefield, MA, where you will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using high-level programming languages, with a focus on Linux, Python, and .Net Core.
Utilize open-source software packages such as OpenCV, LibGD, etc., to enhance and optimize software functionality.
Demonstrate strong Object-Oriented Programming skills in the creation of efficient and scalable code.
Contribute to instrumentation development, with a preference for candidates with firmware experience.
Apply expertise in optics, photonics, or image processing to enhance software capabilities and features.
Profile
Key Skills Required for this Sr Software Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Proficiency in at least two high-level programming languages, with a focus on Linux, Python, or .Net Core.
Experience working with open-source software packages, including OpenCV, LibGD, etc.
Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Solid experience in instrumentation development, with firmware experience considered a plus.
