As a Day Service Program Manager at Glenkirk, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our day service programs. This role involves program development, staff supervision, and ensuring the provision of high-quality services to individuals participating in the day service programs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a supportive and engaging environment that promotes the well-being and growth of program participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Implementation: Design and implement engaging and therapeutic day service programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Ensure programs align with organizational goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise, train, and mentor program staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development.
Client-Centered Approach: Collaborate with participants, their families, and relevant professionals to develop person-centered service plans.
Advocate for the needs and preferences of program participants, promoting a sense of independence and choice.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and evaluation data.
Budget Oversight: Manage budgetary aspects of day service programs, including resource allocation, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Identify cost-effective solutions to maximize program impact.
Community Integration: Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and service providers to enhance program participants' community integration.
Organize and coordinate community outings and activities.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing day service programs.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.) required; Master's degree preferred.
Certification as a QIDP or eligibility for QIDP certification.
Previous experience in program management, preferably in day services or a similar setting.
Knowledge of regulations and standards related to day service programs.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Annual salary range of $50,000 to $55,000.
