Summary:
The primary responsibility will be to write, modify, load and test programming for Halton Systems, this individual will also be responsible for providing technical support to both Halton internal staff and customers in the field in forms of Startup Assistance as well as Customer Service issues, troubleshooting and correction.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $72,000 based on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.
Program control systems provided by Halton and Standard PLC’s using Function Block Diagraming programming and Structured Text programming software.
Programming HMI touchscreens. Review proposals and confirm scope of work requirements.
Research new technologies for special applications and new products.
Technical support and troubleshooting field issues.
Load and test programming on systems prior to shipment.
Customize programs as needed for field support.
Keep accurate records of program, schematic, and onsite modifications.
Generate electrical drawings/schematics.
Provide necessary system specific information for inclusion into systems manual.

Education and/or Experience:
An electrical engineering degree, or degree including PLC programming is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in programming PLC controls for systems operations.
Individuals must possess a strong analytical and technical aptitude and be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and speak English
Possess both written and oral communication skills appropriate to a workplace environment
