**Description**
**High Transit** the specialty hauler for High Industries is actively seeking a **Delivery Representative** to join our team at High Steel Service Center in Lancaster, PA.
**Delivery Representatives** are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks related to operating a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to job-sites, customers and other various locations. Ideal candidates will have the ability to start as early as 2:30 am Monday - Friday and the ability to perform overnight trips two (2) days per week.
**Positions start at $23.00 per hour and up based on experience.**
**Areas of responsibility:**
* Ability to operate a tractor-trailer to delivery company products to customers
* Maintain and ensure that vehicle is good working condition, report any issues to High Transit supervision
* Ability to verify load accuracy and prepare load for delivery, including chaining down the load
* Assist in unloading of load as requested
* Maintain all required DOT documentation
**Qualifications and Work History:**
* Valid CDL A driver's license and clean driving record, required
* 4-5 years of experience hauling a flat bed trailer, required
* Previous steel material hauling experience, preferred
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to run two (2) overnight trips per week
* Demonstrated ability in sound decision making process
* Ability to start early in the morning (2:30 - 4:00 am) and work up to 14 hours per day
