Job Description
WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Technology & Operations Financial Analyst II to assume responsibility for the division’s invoice management including tracking expenses, reporting run-rate, ensuring validity, cost center allocations and payment. The Financial Analyst II will serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable activities for Technology & Operations. In addition, the Financial Analyst will support the Director of Technology & Operations Finance in the preparation of management reporting, budgetary planning exercises, and special projects for several areas of the organization.
This position will offer a dynamic individual the opportunity to gain experience and expand the breath of responsibility for financial support for other areas of the Technology & Operations organization.
This is a full-time/hybrid, 40-hr work week M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM located at our Operations Center in North Wilmington, DE (4 Days in office / 1 day remote). Fully remote work is not available.
The hired candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa, such as an H-1B visa. WSFS Bank does not intend to file any visa applications in connection with this opening.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor, reconcile, and prepare for payment invoices for majority of Technology groups including the tracking of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendor partner organizations, and resolving billing discrepancies
Act as a backup Invoice Processor for Operations groups
Perform monthly close and reporting responsibilities for Project Management Office, Technology Administration, and Customer Experience groups. Responsibilities include general ledger accrual entry preparation, flash variance reporting and reconciliations
Prepare Annual Plan and Forecast for groups above and assist with planning tasks for other Technology areas
Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests including process improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent amount of education and/or directly related work experience.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience related to finance, accounting, or accounts payable experience preferably in a banking, financial services, or technology industry
Experience utilizing ERP systems, preferably Oracle and Oracle SmartView a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of US GAAP
Must have the ability to successfully work under the pressure of strict deadlines
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Thrives in dynamic, energetic, and driven environments
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Ability to work overtime as needed during peak reporting periods
