Summary:
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to apply advanced-level knowledge of computer and software engineering, as well as data engineering and analytics, to create data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Data mining and extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
Use machine learning tools to select features, and create and optimize classifiers.
Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms.
Deploy developed machine learning models to cloud or production.
Propose solutions and strategies to tackle IoT-specific business challenges.
Collaborate with Customers, Business, and IT teams.
This position will not supervise other personnel and will not have direct reports.
Minimum Requirement:
Master’s degree in Computer Systems, Data Science, Data Engineering or any related Engineering or IT field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the experience was gained.
Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill, and proficiency with the following:
Python, Java, Kotlin, AWS, and Microsoft Azure
React, Native, and Flutter.
Machine learning techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning.
Python and R.
DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
UX design principles for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
No travel. WFH available.
