Position Description:
We are seeking an Architect with Quality Engineering as a primary focus to join our team and establish a center of excellence and expertise in designing and implementing quality engineering practices. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading the design and development of quality engineering frameworks
Mentoring team members
Advising and informing the program of work to improve the quality of our products
Leading technical discussions and requirements analysis with partners and customers to drive alignment with customer needs.
Ensure the accessibility and usability of the products to all users, including those with disabilities
Lead proofs of concepts, engineering, and implementation projects

Qualifications:
10+ years of professional experience in quality engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in quality engineering architecture
Proficiency in quality engineering frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or Appium
Expertise in quality engineering principles, practices, and patterns
Experience leading technical direction and implementation of the quality engineering pipeline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and requirements analysis with partners and customers to drive alignment
with customer needs
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to design and implement new solutions
Critical Skills:
Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, or Appium
Understanding and application of testing pyramid concepts to ensure an optimal balance between unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Familiarity with chaos engineering principles and practices to identify and mitigate system weaknesses and improve overall system resilience
Additional Skills:
Experience as a team lead
Passion for building world-class quality engineering practices
Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration and deployment practices
Understanding of web security and accessibility best practices.
Healthcare or transactional experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
