Develops, implements and updates effective financial and operational information systems to meet current reporting needs and future enhancements.

Analyzes the ongoing profitability of all new businesses and/or programs entered into by the Company.

Performs and critiques economic evaluation justifications for capital expenditures.

Prepares financial analysis using Performa income statements, present/future value and other calculations.

Provides management with information on all areas of cost and revenue, as requested.

Provides in-depth financial analysis of corporate projects and investments.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Summary:

The Analyst, Financial Operations Procurement is responsible for providing procurement and business operations support for the XGIE (Xfinity Growth, Innovation & Experience) Finance organization and its leadership. Specific duties include supporting the end-to-end procurement operations workflow for the XGIE team, financial & business operations support, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

This role works across XGIE Finance and is expected to partner / collaborate closely with the respective FP&A teams, XGIE business units, and the Enterprise Procurement & Procurement Ops teams to ensure information and deliverables are timely, accurate and in compliance with Comcast Procurement policies.

Main Responsibilities:

Supports the overall procurement operational workflow for XGIE teams including intake, routing, approvals and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.

Analyzes patterns of spending to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings; Provide department leadership actionable advice to resolve variances and discrepancies.

Identifies opportunities for process improvements & enhancements.

Possesses understanding of and implements Company policies and procedures to improve procurement operations and drive compliance.

Maintains strong control environment including system access reviews, implementation of Audit action plans, Sarbanes-Oxley documentation requirements, and management of approval routings.

Supports monthly/quarterly reporting & analysis on vendor spend, compliance with SLAs and T&E policy compliance.

Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.

Participates in various departmental and/or enterprise-wide projects, such as financial systems development, enhancements, and deployment.

Education Level – Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study – Finance or Accounting preferred

Years Experience - Generally requires 2-3 years related experience
