“A Day in the Life”
Located at the Corporate office in Livermore, California and reporting to the Enterprise Manager, the Network Engineer is a key member of the Information Technology Team. The successful candidate will combine the following talents:
“What You’ll Do”
Assists in the installation and maintenance of network communications, configuring various network devices and services.
Troubleshoot network issues within established guidelines.
Assist with network architecture, optimization, and cost management.
Attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills and desire for continuous improvement and learning.
Promote an environment of excellent internal and external customer service.
Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-FI and security infrastructure
Time management
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
“Must Haves”
Minimum of 3-5 years experience with Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment.
Experience with carrier installations and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work independently and within a team environment to see projects through to completion
Proven dedication to internal and external customer service
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
Able to use sound and accurate decision making skills
“Nice to Haves”
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related major preferred
CCNA or CCNP Certification
