**Description**
This position is responsible for the buying designated broadcast and streaming for assigned local markets/accounts, inclusive of Video and Audio.
**Responsibilities**
* Meets with media representatives and accesses media database to research available options for media placement
* Negotiates best price, estimates ratings and media placement, as specified in approved media plan
* Meets all deadlines
* Evaluates and negotiates sponsorships, bringing forth new ideas
* Monitors and stewards media agreements and contracts with outside media vendors
* Oversees media schedules and adjusts broadcasting and online schedules due to program changes or campaign performance
* Monitors media placement, time discrepancies and reconciles billing, tracking daily
* Conducts Post Buy Analysis after every campaign
* Tracks expenditures to ensure compliance with budget
* Researches and maintains record of trends, and innovations which affect media buying
* Provides new opportunities and recommendations/POVs
* Maintains excellent relationships with media community, account/media teams and client
**Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of related experience in media buying required (Local media markets)
* Spot television, spot radio, spot cable, streaming audio, podcasts, video, advertising experience (QSR a plus)
* Experience with Strata, Basis, Innovid, Tableau and SQAD preferred
* Very good mathematical ability required
* Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, must be able to problem solve and have the ability to multitask
* Good communication/presentation skills
