Role Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Spa Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our country club spa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of spa attendants, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining spa facilities, and promoting a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for our club members.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guests with a thorough and knowledgeable understanding of spa services.
Train and ensure all front desk associates deliver exceptional service, offering corrective counseling when needed.
Ensure front desk staff are monitored and informed of treatments, groups, and other promotions.
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of spa attendants and other spa staff.
Maintain inventory levels by ensuring proper stock levels on retail and professional on hand and in rooms.
Conduct daily treatment room checklist inspection noting inconsistencies and accuracies working alongside the Spa Manager.
Responsible for the day-to-day spa operation duties to include opening and closing, cash handling procedures and general facility maintenance.
Prepare bi-weekly hourly payroll report and approvals.
Assist Spa Manager in conducting performance evaluations for all staff after 90 days and yearly thereafter.
Diffuse Member challenges and Communicate member problems or complaints to the Spa Manager on Duty in a timely fashion.
Act as leader for service providers and work with Spa Manager to enforce service standards, SOP's, and conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
Manage all front desk incentives.
Responsible for closing reports and cash bank reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
3+ years of experience.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the spa, hospitality, or wellness industry (four- or five-star hotel training preferred).
Knowledge of spa treatments, techniques, and best practices.
Certification in spa management, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and qualities:
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
