About the Hospital and Department:
Hospital: Financially sound, growing, full-service 100+ bed community hospital part of a well-respected multi campus health system
This is a hospital based position and will direct the Quality Management, Risk and Infection Control Department
Reports to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer who has been with the health system for over 4 years
About the Quality Director (RN) Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly engaged Manager or Director of Quality who is seeking to take the next step in their career and join one of the most well-respected health systems in the country that is focused on providing the safest and highest quality care to its community.
In this role, you will manage quality, risk and infection control for the hospital, ensure safe, compassionate care is provided to the community through training and education, develop goals and objectives for the department, maintain performance improvement and compliance with regulatory agencies, and manage the department's budget.
Qualifications & Requirements for Quality Director (RN)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's preferred
RN Active License
At least five (5) years of Quality experience
Effective team builder who is able to manage multiple projects, provide the strategic vision for the department, engage the staff and build physician relationships
Serve as a liaison with internal and external customers
Engaged and collaborative leadership style
