JOB TITLE: Licensed Intake Therapist
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time,40 hours/wk
SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8-4PM (alternate schedule may be considered)

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ADULT OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
The Adult Outpatient Services program (AOP) assists adult clients who are recovering from traumatic incidents, substance use, or are looking to manage a chronic mental health disorder through psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. AOP has a tier-based productivity incentive program, with the vast majority of staff consistently exceeding productivity expectations and obtaining a bonus. Typical days varies as there is the possibility to work with clients individually, in a group setting, or IOP. There is regular weekly supervision provided to all non-licensed staff and biweekly supervision for licensed staff. Nonetheless, supervisors are always available whenever you are working to answer questions and offer clinical assistance when needed.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Completes intake assessment and diagnosis.
Initiates family and other collateral contacts to ensure quality, client-centered services.
Collaborates with other agency staff and external providers who are working with the clients.
Provides case management, clinical, and crisis intervention supports as indicated.
Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's degree in behavioral health field required.
Experience: At least two (2) years experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC or psychologist in the State of CT required.
Training: Masters in mental health field required. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience as a therapist working with people with mental illness, addictions and/or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment and evaluation.

COMPENSATION* :
$54,843/annually min.- $82,265/annually max., dependent upon experience.
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
