About the Role:
The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting Sound Physicians’ assets and will be reporting directly to the Manager of Information Security. As the security analyst you will be responsible for maintaining the security program requirements towards Sound Physicians’ adoption of practices and standards.
The security analyst will focus on developing and strengthening current security practices and provide risk and threat statistics to management.
The Details: This role will require occasional travel (1-2 trips per year).
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing, tracking and supplying information for remediation of information security risks across the enterprise
Providing Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of incidents
Providing support to security solutions such as antivirus/malware, tracking software, IDS/IPS and SIEM
Developing and maintaining procedures and playbooks for routine security processes
Collaborating with teams, including IT Operations, IT Engineering and Help Desk, to maintain and enhance organization security
Supporting incident manager during high and critical incidents
Assisting in the implementation and optimization of security projects
Providing intel for threat learning
Providing risk and threat statistics to management
Providing technical security advice for improving Sound’s security posture
Providing policy recommendations

Knowledge :
Associates Degree in a relevant field is required
Knowledge of Active Directory
Knowledge of healthcare industry frameworks and regulations, e.g. HIPAA and HITRUST.
Knowledge of international information security frameworks and standards, e.g. NIST, ISO
Experience:
Three years’ experience in relevant field
Experience with Microsoft Windows platforms
Experience with Azure Cloud and Intune
Experience with Rapid7, Microsoft Defender preferred
Experience with Android and IoS platforms
Experience in complex problem solving
Experience in systems analysis
