Early Childhood Coordinator (Boston, MA) We are seeking a dedicated EEC certified Early Childhood Coordinator to join our team. We are seeking a Coordinator who is caring, passionate, and looking to make a positive difference in children’s lives. Early Childhood Coordinator Responsibilities:
Supervise all full-time preschool staff including developing behavior guidance strategies for teachers to utilize in the classrooms and overseeing the development of educationally enriched curriculum and assessments.
Participate in ongoing observations, feedback meetings, and performance reviews.
Work an 8-hour schedule between the hours of 6 am-6 pm.
Support opening and closing the program, assist in the development of program events, meetings and trainings, and make staffing decisions as necessary.
Participate in daily review of staff scheduling and staff recruitment.
Encourage and foster positive relationships, interactions, and communication between staff parents, and children.
Early Childhood Coordinator Requirements:
Director I & II EEC certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
3+ years of experience working in a high-quality childcare center -- preferably in a corporate or multi-institutional setting -- with prior professional experience supervising others in a childcare center.
Early Childhood Coordinator Qualifications:
Strong supervision skills, judgement, and must be a self-starter.
Positive, reliable, collaborative, and encouraging personality.
Excellent team player and leadership abilities.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
Excellent communication and attention to detail with the ability to speak, read, and write English.
