About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead its finance and accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the month-end close, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This role involves supervising the financial accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams, as well as playing a significant role in long-term planning and operational excellence initiatives. The Vice President of Finance will also be involved in the RFP and implementation process for a new accounting system and will be expected to collaborate across the organization to improve overall operations.Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree and CPA, with an MBA or master's degree in a related field preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience is required, with specific experience in process and system improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and business, as well as skills in strategic planning, leadership, and budget management. Experience within a complex organizational structure, particularly in companies with multiple business units, is highly valued. The role demands a hands-on, collaborative leader with a player-coach mentality, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence.
