Spirent is looking for an experienced Senior Technology Consultant in Telecommunications and Networking to help support Tier 1 Service Provider segment in Test and Measurement. This individual will be an integral member of Spirent's regional sales team and work closely with many of Spirent's strategic Customers and Industry experts.

You will specialize in post-Sales activities, acting as the technical subject matter expert on Spirent's products and solutions, understanding customer requirements, determining the best solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition of those solutions to target customers.

Your primary focus will be to drive technical end-to-end solutions to our clients as part of an integrated sales team. Post-sales activities include solution development, technical presentations, design documentation creation, assisting with technical questions or concerns during the post-sales process. You will be frequently participating in the project specification process, acting as a liaison between Spirent's sales/business development and engineering groups, and leading key customer development projects in addition to direct customer engagement in support of the sales team's objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Specialize in post-sales activities, acting as technical subject matter expert on Spirent’s products and solutions, understanding customer requirements, determining best solutions and effectively communicating the value proposition of those solutions to target customers; Drive technical end-to-end solutions to clients; Act as a liaison between Spirent's sales/business development and engineering groups, and lead key customer development projects in addition to direct customer engagement in support of the sales team's objectives; Analyze complex call flows including E2E mobility services; Effectively troubleshoot network issues and perform Root Cause Analysis; Utilize In-depth Landslide TAS/TS scripting and configuration skills; Work with internal/external teams to anticipate and qualify customer needs; Develop and present test plans and communicate test results to customers; Identify customer requirements and communicate these requirements/feature requests to Product Marketing; Provide post-sales support and ongoing customer training, as required; and Work with Spirent Support and Engineering teams to help solve customer issues.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent. Must have 8 years of experience in job offered or

related occupation. Must have 8 years of experience in the following skillsets: In-depth 3G/4G/5G Mobile Core Networking, 3GPP protocol experience, and network troubleshooting expertise; Test Tooling, Test Automation, and designing e2e Mobility test cases; and Technical skills in IP networking, network security, telecommunications, and applications. Must have 5 years of experience in the following skillset: Cloud environments. Travel required to client site up to 30% of the time. Telecommute arrangement permitted: Position may work from various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Annualized Salary Wage Range: $150,000 - $166,113

Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
