ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for an outstanding, brilliant, and driven Application Engineer to join our growing Advanced R & D team. In this mission critical role, the Application Engineer will design, build, and implement amazing web applications and back-end services for our internal customers. Designs/develops/tests/implements new services that interact with various generative AI models hosted on Google Cloud and on-premises
Responsible for adhering to coding standards andtheapproved technologies
Unit tests all changes on development,and then workswith the appropriate Business and/orTechnologyOwner(s) to ensurethatthe developed solution meetsthebusiness requirements
Communicates development progress daily to the senior-level team members
Attendsto any work items assigned through the internal case system in a timely fashion
Takes ownership of work items assigned,communicates estimates and daily progress as part oftheSDLC process, and actively works to resolve issues blocking progress
Assistsin the QA process
Participates,as required ,in Productiondeployment, providing instructionsand supportfor deployingthecodechanges successfully, andfor SmokeTesting code post- release
Developsand maintains open and fluid communication with Management
Developsand maintains a positive relationship with other team members

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1-3 years’ experience
Basic understanding of programming concepts
Can code in one or more general purpose programming languages;C# and.NET programming languagesare preferred
Experience with Python and SQL
Experience with MVC / Containers / GCP preferred
Experience with infrastructure components such as servers, networking, load balancers, and MQ preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment & welcome change
Highly self-motivated
Ability to work both in team and solo environments
Bachelor’sdegree in related field or equivalent work experience
