This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. Exercise supervision and control on behalf of the Commander. Manage, coordinate and integrate the day-to-day operations of the Battalion. Maintain oversight of the readiness status of subordinate units. Advise the Commander and staff on policy matters relative to all phases of the United States Army Reserve Command (USAR) program. Analyze and interpret incoming directives, policies, and instructions to implement the changes in the Battalion. Direct and monitor compliance and actions required to improve programs. Identify requirements for development of the yearly budget for Reserve Personnel Army and Operations Maintenance Army Reserve funds.
