Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Director to drive the overall engineering delivery of all software components. As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts across all engineering individual contributors (ICs), including task distribution, code review, and upholding engineering practices and efficient delivery. You should have strong expertise in shipped client and service side products with HMD-constrained application environments.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
At least 8 years of experience in software development, including shipped client and service side products with HMD-constrained application environments.
Experience leading and guiding engineering teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Lead the engineering team in the development and delivery of software components, including both client and service side software.
Manage and mentor a team of engineering ICs, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, QA) to ensure that engineering efforts are aligned with business and user requirements.
Identify and resolve technical roadblocks and bottlenecks in the development process.
Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the software components.
Ensure that all code is reviewed and meets engineering best practices and standards.
Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in software development technologies.
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
