Carolina Ale House is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team in Fort Mill, SC !
As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility with work schedule including working late nights and weekends. The average number of working hours are 55 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Perform line and prep functions alongside hourly employees
Perform food & smallware orders as needed
Help maintain a fully staffed BOH department
Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and other members of management
Oversee all foodservice operations
Maintain a clean & sanitary BOH environment
Help maintain budgeted labor & food costs
Prepare reports as needed
Ensure the safety of employees & guests at all times
Uphold all company values and standards at all times
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years working in a back of house role in leadership.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude when under pressure.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering top-quality dishes.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
