Job Title FWS Event Services Receptionist Department University Center, Adam W. Herbert Position Number 912000 Requisition Number 063719 Position Type Federal Work Study Full Time/Part Time Part-Time Time-limited through Hours PM and weekend shifts based on event schedule Hourly Rate $12 Job Summary/Responsibilities First point of contact for all patrons visiting the HUC. Serves as the office receptionist. Greets and directs visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Answers incoming calls and provides accurate information and /or directs caller to appropriate person
Assist guests with wayfinding, including other locations on campus
Maintain professional appearance of reception areas
Assist with customer service for clients hosting events
Performs front desk operations to ensure client needs are being met (duplication, faxing, concierge services, etc.)
Prepare and print all daily rooms signage and directional signage
Required Qualifications Applicant must be a current UNF student who is eligible for and accepts Federal Work Study (FWS) funding
Must be available to work night and weekend hours
Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills in person, phone, fax, and email
Punctuality
Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks until completion
